Privacy Policy

velmira.ai (“velmira,” “we,” “us”) is a tool for creating consistent AI characters and generating images of them. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

By using velmira.ai, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and any optional profile information you provide (name, profile picture). Authentication is handled by Clerk, which stores credentials and session tokens on our behalf.

Billing information

When you purchase a subscription or credit pack, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number, CVC, or full payment details — Stripe holds those. We do store your Stripe customer ID, subscription state, plan, and the amount of remaining quota or credits on your account.

Content you create

We store the characters you create (name, description, appearance prompt), the scene prompts you submit, the reference and generated images, and a log of when each was created. Images are stored in Cloudflare R2.

Usage data

We log basic request metadata (timestamps, request paths, error messages, IP address) for security and debugging. We don't use third-party analytics or behavior tracking pixels.

• To provide the service — generate images, store characters, show your gallery.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To enforce our Terms of Service (e.g. detecting prohibited content).
• To improve the product — debug errors, fix bugs, tune the model pipeline.
• To communicate with you about account or billing issues.

We do not use your prompts or generated images to train AI models, and we do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

We share the minimum data necessary with these processors to operate the service. None of them receive more than they need.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users.

We use only the cookies required for the site to function — primarily the session cookie set by Clerk to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your characters, generations, and account data are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your characters, generations, and uploaded images are deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. transaction records for tax purposes).

You can:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Delete a specific character (and all its generations) from the app.
• Delete your entire account by contacting us — this removes your characters, generations, and account record.
• Export your generated images by downloading them from your gallery.
• Cancel your subscription at any time from your Stripe customer portal.

Residents of California, the EU/UK, and other jurisdictions with similar laws have additional rights including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.

velmira.ai is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data — encrypted transit (HTTPS everywhere), encrypted database connections, restricted access to production systems, and short-lived API tokens. No system is perfectly secure; we can't guarantee that data breaches won't happen, but we will notify affected users promptly if one does.

We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we will notify active users by email. Continuing to use velmira.ai after a change means you accept the updated policy.
